sorry i have just seen your message.. i am still new to this programme but it's great... what's happening here is a ceremony for a groundbreaking event for the Sun Bear Conservation Centre in Sandakan, Borneo. (The centre will be very close to the Orang Utan centre) We thought it would be a good idea to bring some 'priestesses and a priest' to perform the ritual of cleansings and blessings the ground for the Sun Bears. This is a traditional ceremony that is still being practiced in Borneo.. however modernity has taken over traditional values. The tradition is slowly dying. Thank you for viewing our photo.
